Does Clickbank affiliation works for Indian Market?

India is a third world country, most of the people just come online to surf facebook and orkut and to check their mails, half of them dont have a credit card and rest of them hardly take out their card to buy something online. Your product could only sell if you target the people of higher class strata, but still the chances are very thin as most of them are skeptical about buying online, and as you already know we all have habits of searching for free stuff online. So I would suggest re considering your plans.
Just like neo3187 supposed, it will be much harder for you to promote digital products in India than in the USA. What i'm thinking is , if you could retarget your clients, for example, optimize your product and target your audience in major English speaking countries like US/CA/UK/AU.
In this case, if the product itself is a really good one, then who cares about ur geo location?

Believe it or not, after my 3 years with Clickbank with many sales, only 1 sale is from India. ONE!

there are many reasons why you can not potentially target indian market.they can get better help for $30 than buying ebook to solve their problem also not many ppl have cc and indians dont have spending habits like americans.

Right now we are not doing bad with our SEO, but as you have said not a lot of people are looking for those things. (some hundreds of new visitors every day)
There is of course a trial version and we get 15% registration for it. After that we call each person (we have a team for that) that has registred and try to convince him/her to take a premium package (6% registers, they pay by Credit card or Cheque).
We have 30 000 emails of potential customers but the transformation rate is even worse. People don't seem to open their emails in this country (the News Letter is not spammy at all and has good design, it would work better in Europe...).
Well I'm kinda new to this Market and I appreciate all your feedbacks. I hope that we'll find a solution to make affiliation work.

If you really wanna sell something to indians then you gotta get down on the floor and sell it to them physically, that is how you will see some response, setup events, demonstrate your products and/or services , indian market can not be targeted by means of internet, unless its some gym offer or something which is really cheap and targets the youth, and by youth also I am talking about the high class youth who splurge around in pubs and pump some iron to impress chicks..

Future? I wouldnt wait for that future, with the political state of the country , people work so hard to just earn for their basic needs, its not that the country is poor, but the people are, cz of all the scams and corruptions, the future you are talking about is really far, as of now, if you wanna sell something to the indian public, have a look at whats selling at the moment, otherwise target developed countries

We need to get 900 paid registrations per month to make the website really profitable.
I don't know if E-learning would drive that many people here in India(targeted trafic of 60,000 new visitors each month).
What is sure is that we'll not reach them through SEO, we are already ranking well on most keywords. The only hope is advertising now.

OP, try shooglo network from OMG. They have good lot of Indian pubs. You can also try komli ad network.
