Does changing Wordpress theme affect SEO and Ranking?

We not saying it’s bad to switch it can exactly be a great thing but u have to test your theme fully for speed for ads and for accessibility.

Also certain themes required an additional plugin to be installed for full functionality. You have to always deactivate the old additional plugin before u do a new one which could cause some errors

Once you change you WordPress theme google downgrade your site.

Nah, it should be fine. Only difference I've noticed is the bounce rate, which can affect the SEO.

Yes,but it will be temporary ,sometime you will see your site at the top and sometime you will see the drop.
