Hey y'all fellas :) I have a question. So I was thinking replacing/editing the Featured Image and some images on the body of the content since it was poorly edited and it doesn't look like it will convert.

Do you think it will have negative results if I replace the images ? and should I keep the file name the same ?

People search by keywords.
So what makes this different is.

Your image contrast, and image content in the search of people

I mean I will make a new featured image for the post to make it more look attractive however there is google update long time ago (I think) that changing URL frequently is considered as spam. I wondered if it applies the same with images

Maybe you already indexed google images.

When you already indexed images, then you replace it.

Automatic link post your picture will change.

So the old index lost and replaced the new index.

This led to a decrease in traffic by keyword or image you

I would certainly change the image if not happy with conversion. And test how it works compared to the old one. The file name should have keywords in it: if you get lucky it can make it in Google images and you extra free traffic from it.

Just make sure you include some target keywords in your new featured image. Also, changing url is not spam as long as you point the old url to the new one.

It shouldn't change your site's ranking but it will definitely change the ranking you see in Google/Yahoo/Bing Images

It should have some impact, but if you know what you are doing, and you improve upon your existing attributes, the impact may simply be positive.

Images won't change any effects on SEO except the readers attraction. Don't change the filename as it goes error for links in webmaster tools and also your image may be indexed already.

It will not affect that much to your site's ranking. You can add new images if you think they are more appropriate to the content and more attractive.
