I have a few months old site that's running on joomla, SEO's been done on it before and certain keywords are ranking in google. Thinking of changing it to wordpress instead as wordpress is easier for me, besides the canonical urls were not setup properly(outsourced).
1. Just wondering how much will it affect the SEO if I am to do the change and the whole process was done between a couple of days to a week?
2. Since I'm gonna change the canonical urls, some of these are actually ranking well(backlinking work done on them). Should I do a 301 redirect from the old pages to new pages? How should I go about doing it? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
