I did everything right for gmb ranking. but client is changing gmb business name i think a lot. there are no calls. i think its because of changing business name too much

Changing that gmb name too much gonna mess up your whole ranking game with google, that's definitely why they calls ain't coming in. Gotta keep it consistent for the algorithm to lock you in properly
changing business name is just like throw your rankings away at the sea, people should really understand that there is no point of spending on ranking if you are consistently changing your profile.

Changing the GMB name too frequently will definitely affect rankings because when a customer changes the name on GMB but the Yellow Pages, social media or website still use the old name, Google will be confused. They won't be sure if it's the same business, leading to a lower ranking due to doubts about authenticity.

Changing name will affect GMB for sure, you are even lucky the account is not suspended yet. My advice would be to try keeping the business name consistent for a while and focus on steady updates and engagement, this usually helps rankings stabilize and can improve calls over time.

Changing the name will trigger the video verification. And If they have DBA for that name only, then you should change your business name. Otherwise, you need to optimize your GMB and do SEO for it or hire someone else to rank your GMB in your targeted area.
