Does Buzzfeed not allow BackLinks to new accounts?

Hey there, I just signed up on buzzfeed with my FB and posted an article with a link to my blog and to some authority websites but now all the links in the published post are replaced with the Buzzfeed post itself. Do they not allow new accounts to post links ? or do we have to wait until the post gets approved or something? Anybody with any experience with Buzzfeed?

Not really sure on this answer but I would think it is because of a new account.

I checked the links again today and they are now fine. I checked them for two days and they were pointing towards the buzzfeed article itself but now they are pointing to my desired urls. May be they hold links for some time and then allow them.

Yes the buzzfeed allows the backlinks to the new accounts.

Here are some steps to make backlink to your account.
1) Register your account in facebook.
2) Create new post bu clicking "new post".
3) Write the post using buzzfeed.
4) When you are finished, Make preview your post.
5) After making assurance of its look, publish it .
6) Do take a look at your first backlink and post in buzzfees.
