Does buying views do much?

So with most platforms all buying views does it make a fake number that means nothing, I was wondering with Tiktok if buying views is the same or does this boost ranking allowing you to get more real views?

I have a picture of my cat, and I selected 500 homes to visit in person to see how good my picture is. depending on how those home visits go, I may select another 500/1000 more homes to see. I will repeat that until
I release the picture to all the homes in my area, if it is popular, I will spread it worldwide into each home. At no time does somebody outside of the house affect my decision to visits the homes I select.
now what the hell has that to do with TikTok? Well, the video is the picture, the fyp page is the homes and the area and world is the TikTok audience. Views in bought in the beginning don't really matter, what matters is the view reat and other stuff the predetermined audience reacts to it. -- so in essence, xternal views really don't work
 
I've tested it many times and didn't get viral. Not help at all.
 
Seriously just:

"Do what tiktok wants you to do, and create interesting 15 second videos".

That's it.

I went viral with a video that I literally shot with 10 seconds thought to it, and that now has over 6.5 million views and launched my account.
 
It can have some positive effect as the viewers will also see that the video has got some views.
 
you simply get views, but you need people liking and really looking for your content.

i don't actually, i wanted to make a analogy of how the feed works in TiTok, it is views based, not follower based. It is miles apart from Insta. You can very high follower likes, views comments and guess what, it fails.
 
It is not worth to buy views when your content is not good, if it is you don‘t need to buy
