this is mostly for perception but have been thinking about buying likes. I used to get over 1k likes on photos and now am getting around 300-500 so just for perception thinking of adding 500 - 1k likes to every photo. this is for a house DJ account so this low like count could be hurting bookings but also I want to organically grow and don't want to get shadowbanned or Instagram to start thinking I am in a different niche and start showing me to like adult or weed niche

is there a way to get the impression of a better account without killing your account? like buying power likes or do those hurt account too
 
try Instagram promotion better, it will get you real good quality likes and you don't have to worry about shadow bans, 5$ per post will do the job.
 
I don't think it kills the account. Otherwise ppl can start killing competitors' accounts by sending fake likes to them if it's that easy. I believe it just doesn't count in anything.
 
It doesnt help your account or hurt it.... it only provides a inflation of numbers to boost your ego or presence
 
Another point that might hurt is that if you use facebook ads, fake likes might skew your ads target groups leading to incorrect ads promotions.

you mean just running ads? doesn't that not count towards the likes on the actual photo though
 
Social proof helps with eCommerce stores - if you are launching a new store, you can buy few hundred likes to your FB page.

But order a random number (like 372) not like I have seen some do it - they order exactly 500 likes.

yes .. this can kill your account or you might be end with disabled account.
using fake like.. its not worth it..its better to invest buy promo from pages... spend some good money .. and u will get good amounts of likes... and good comments too
 
It depends. Instagram ranks your content based on engagement. If you buy shitty likes where Instagram knows for sure that they are botted and fake, then they won't benefit you.
If you buy quality likes from real accounts where all requests are sent to Instagram, then it will boost your account.

where do you buy likes like that from? I was doing engagement groups but have not been able to keep up with that

Doesn’t hurt it. Could help in your case since people booking you will look at that
