Yes it still works and not a bad thing to do at all but don't overdo it as you don't get very high quality backlinks from it.

hmmm, how about so call Nature back link? I also heard of that , some claim is not people share your site etc this is same like " you are doing bookmarking ownself sharing it "

Yeah, But try to submit on few websites only. Make sure the bookmarking website have a good rank.

See it as adding diversity to you backlink profile.
I always try and build my backlink profile to mimic a big brand. Google loves brands and sees them as authorities. Think how many times your niche website is out ranked by brands such as review sites newspapers, and other proper brands.
It works really well for me, and much quicker than other tactics. So include a diverse link profile, social signals, citations, definitely press releases etc and be very heavy on brand name, url, naked etc anchor text and I'm sure you'll do well

If it helps in getting traffic and SEO? Barely I think. The only reason to do it is you've exhausted other linkbuilding methods and you're looking to diversify.
Otherwise it won't make a difference on its own. Still, I would put this as one of the most least effective methods you can do when it comes to building backlinks compared to other methods.

than whats your menthod ? kinda standard , In page SEO which people say the site contetnt etc stuff.
ok , Here I prefer to like links ,
also kinda standard , guest post, post on social media , some using e mail list , for traffic too , than build back link , any site can put your site link will just put . I cannot think of out of the world ways

If you’re talking about just building links, I do outreach a lot.
Broken link building, resource page link building, guest blogging etc.
Getting one powerful EDU link is worth more for your time than constantly bookmarking to the same sites.
Do you track your keywords to see what's working when building links?
PBN'S still work if you want to go that route. I don't do PBN's as much as I used to but I trusted that method for a long time until I just decided to do outreach.

but seem cannot brake the traffic , always like range at Certain amount of visitors
