Does blogging still work?

Blogging is still effective, but it's no longer the "write and get traffic" approach it once was. Especially for travel blogs, there are still opportunities if done correctly. If you want to blog about travel, I think you need to do things differently; this field seems quite competitive. I believe combining video and SEO would be much more effective.

There are a few preferred content formats google und Bing favours for quick index and ranking (depends on niche /keyword) adn needs good EEAT signal. Out there are some few distributions who will replace the google organic traffic which will goes down, because you will not see yout article ranking in google quicker than 3-4 months- this makes organic seo useless. Many influencers now using social media for traffic to make sales or build a list, not organic seo. I wonder, you not recognize it ?

What about get traffic via rss? Seth Godin built his personal brand empire with rss.
