Does Blogger Require off-page SEO such as link building?

I want to start free Blog (everyone suggest Blogger). I have useful content which is written by professional writer. My question is "do I need to do any off-page SEO such as link building?"

I know I can get a backlinks from Guest Post (by sharing my contents/articles). But I just changed my approach where I can control my page and advertise my offers.

Though I am new about this kinds of method. Just want some expert advice. I have no idea how Google will treat my contents. As long as I know Google love naked URL such as WordPress tags (that doesn't require any off-page SEO but require some social signals) and web page with authority backlinks.

I am still in Novice level. Appreciate some expert comments.

You haven't tell what you are looking to get from your blog!

It is more important that what you want to achieve from your blog.

You have time to think about building links.

Start your blog with proper content and good themes and inbound links. Get traffic from social media and another guest post options.wait for a couple of weeks after indexing. then you have to decide whether it is required or not.

If you want to increase your ranking and other metrics means definitely you need to get backlinks from other sites which are relevant to your niche.

In the world of Search Engine, Off-page SEO only shows Google what others think about your site.

In my opinion, Guest post is the best option to drive the decent amount of traffic to your site.

You need both OFF page SEO and ON page SEO for the best possible result. Once you get on-page seo right then spend your time and effort on off page seo.
