You can leave genuine comments on high traffic sites relevant to your niche. Mostly it will be a No-follow link but can drive some traffic. It can also boost your link quality in Moz explorer.

Blog comments work extremely well given that the comment is genuine and not just spam designed to create backlinks.
People read comments just due to human nature, and that's why YouTube comments and Reddit comments are read by people all the time.
Write something genuine and link it to something helpful and you'll generate tonnes of high quality traffic.

It works but it's not that effective compared before. Today, more blog websites are not adding a comment section to avoid spam but if you would use that strategy then make sure that you would not look like you are spamming.

Blog comments is good strategy for improve your traffic. Unfortunately non related blog comments is worthless. Better to choose niche relevant comments is better always. And also check DA and PA.

This type of backlink only ok for you means you can go with comment backlinks. Choose high traffic blogs with related articles and then discuss about the article with your backlink. Do not get any spam comments for your site it will be affect your site.

Yes, blog commenting is still worth it as it is a great way to increase exposure for your blog, build relationships with other bloggers, and improve your SEO rankings.

I guess to get target traffic with commenting, I guess you must set it to automatic, because you not can write manually every day that mass of comments that will bring you decent traffic numbers in fast time?
Commenting multiple times daily to 5-8 FB groups I can imagine that this is enough to get decent traffic.
But I asked this year some affiliate marketers (who wrote about this topic) they showing screenshots of FB traffic but they could not answer me the question how much comments they write daily on FB, come one, scam screenshots?
How monitoring your traffic sources, but you not know how many comments you write every day on FB groups- really? I not believe that. The same with Quora commenting, they talking about hoch much great traffic they get from Quora, but could not tell me how many comments they arite every day.

Blog commenting can still be valuable, but it's all about the approach and quality. If you're just dropping links in comments without adding value, it's not going to do much for your SEO. Instead, focus on leaving insightful, relevant comments that naturally incorporate your link.

If you are creating quality content, blog commenting under your content can impact your site visibility and traffic. It is a good way to create good activities under your content. But adding links in blog comments anywhere else can get only nofollow links and I don't think that there is any sense in it.
