Yes, it's long-needed.

A separate adult marketing section would help two groups of users: (1) who do adult and (2) who don't want to stumble upon such threads.
Although i realize categorizing already existing threads would require quite a bit of manual work from the staff, because these threads are all over the place.

Depending on how far back you'd want to go, a significant number of the current adult threads can be moved to a new subforum pretty quickly.
 
Yes, it's needed. There are several adult threads here and I think the information would be good for everyone.

I won't name any names but other adult forums have gone completely downhill and it's not worth visiting anymore. The biggest problem there was a lack of moderation. If you can transfer the same rules and community standards to the adult section, then BHW would be a major contender (if not the top) forum in that niche.

Back in the days way back 2014 or 2015.
I first learned about adult marketing here in BHW.
I was lurking at affiliates program and there was a lot of account managers looking for offices and agents to sell their site.
there was even a thread here i think it was "vice offers" i was one of their agents doing ewhoring and some black hat stuff.
i think yes it would be good to have and adult section for those managers and people who are into affiliate porn program.
 
I vote yes.

All I do is adult.

Once you see what is earned you too will want a piece of the pie.
The difference between adult and mainstream is you don't get on Facebook and share porn to your friends and family and say, 'hey look what I found'. 'I think you will enjoy this porn video/site'.
So it can be a level up in difficulty.

Difficult one to call.
If it creates value then yes, why not.
If it's going to attract numpties and spammers, then as @Zwielicht says could cause more hassle than is needed.

Other forums do have active adult sections, so this may be an opportunity to get adult service sellers in the marketplace too.
 
Totally yes. There aren't much forums about adult marketing.
 
The adult AD plugin you mentioned is very interesting.
 
Yes, BHW should have an adult section. I'm in the biz and sometimes it can be a nuisance to find what you look for. Voted yes

That's accurate. Everywhere else it's just copypasta from the official google blogs. I'm not pandering to BHW just for politics, it's the truth. This is the only place where you're allowed freedom to discuss actual real SEO.
 
I voted yes cuz its not only good for those in adult business, but also good for those who want to avoid it.

If there is an option to hide posts from this section, it would be great

The current section works just fine - doubt anyone would be offended by adult material + it doesn't seem a big of a niche to warrant it.
 
Yes, but gonna need rules re: no links to porn sites, or images/vid in the thread.
