Does being logged into multiple google chrome profiles work?

If I were to open two google chrome windows and log into each one with a different profile,

Then, with a chrome extension like switchysharp, I set each window to a different proxy,

Can I then run two instances of the same website (twitter, for example), each on their own proxy, log in with two different twitter accounts, and work without consequence?
