Does Autosurf Still Work

Wondering if anyone knows whether autosurfs still help with ranking sites any more. I see a couple people linking to Web 2.0 domains that link back to their money sites. But I'm not sure if there's any relevant link juice passed back to the main domain. I did make bank once with an Adsense gimmick many years ago with clicks from Autosurfs , but they eventually figured that out. Since they still are around years later, I wonder how they play into blackhat nowadays.

For those that don't what i mean, an autosurf, sits on a page for 20 seconds or more, then bounces to another page, and then credits are given to get hits to your own sites. The idea being that your visitor #s will go up from people surfing around the world. Manual surfs and Autosurfs are still around several years since I started the interweb up. lol.
