Does Autoplay Videos affect Ranking?

I have a client site, ranking was really good stable and improving, and since they added an autoplay video to their homepage, rankings are down, really down.

So does autoplay videos affect ranking?

Their on page is excellent, quite good content,good link diversity and no pbn used.

User experience might be a cause. A homepage is where you can direct visitors quickly and easily to the most appropriate next pages. Obviously, autoplay videos are a hindrance to this, since they pose some kind of a demand to watch the video. The videos may be useful, but having to cut the flow of the “why I visit this site” process is not convenient to some.

I think autoplay video might effect google rank.
because when the user visit a website first he wants to know what is it about, but before knowing about the product autoplay video might irritate the user which cause high bounce rate which is a negative point as per google norms which effects ranking.
So my advice is first present solitary content followed by a video link.
