Does Authority Hacker System still work?

I've been watching the Authority Hacker videos and it's a great concept but when I look for niches i find a lot where Amazon is the #1 on google. Is it possible to beat Amazon and it's high domain rank with content alone? Also, any thoughts on the Authority Hacker System and it's relevance today would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest to try and understand what makes them rank 1st on each SERP. Sometimes they are ranking with lame/irrelevant pages just because there isn't any decent competition. I've had much success outranking them in my country, as well as other very large websites, with unique content and deep on-page optimization alone.

It's an approach, not an automatic system. So yes, I think it's relevant for a few reasons:

• They focus on content - nothing shady here, just content as good as somebody can create
• They do outreach for backlinks - again, plain old outreach which helps them build backlinks
• They do technical SEO

Basically, they try to create a good/decent website (and content) for their niche and then they promote it. In other words: they create a product (content, review, etc) and promote it (crate backlinks to improve SERP).

This will work for any business, regardless of the niche. So, yes, I think it works. In the long run, it looks like a good approach.
