Profile link is better than company link. Having company link can mean lot of things like content may be outsourced. When you give a human profile link, it is also helpful for visitors to contact them on social media for their doubts.
In my opinion, I don't think it reflects much. It has nothing to do with. I see some sites were it ranks better and there won't be any author description in it.
