So, an architect's studio want to buy one of my domain I'm using as PBN. Also, the domain it's brandable and every main extension (even .info and .biz which usually are the less popular) is taken. They offered me $100. Honestly I laugh at they offer because I will never sell that domain for few penny, making a negative. So in that moment I shoot high and told him I don't even think to sell that domain for less than $3000.

And well... instead of leaving me alone or calling me crazy like I was expecting, he now want to know from how many years I own a so much precious domain... and I don't know how to answer to this question. This sounds to me like a way to start dealing on the price, am I wrong? Should I keep pushing, does they have money in your opinion?

Thread moved to a more suitable sub forum for domain names.

Ask yourself this; If I turned down 3k and kept the domain, do I have the experience to make that back using it as a PBN?

What did you pay for the domain? If you paid $500 then $3k is a good profit. Even If you paid $2k for it, you've still made 50% profit.
What I would say is don't get too greedy and price yourself out of the market.

If you do that and he walks away you have got a domain worth what you paid for it and a tiny bit more at best.

If they're responding back it sounds like they want to deal. If you didn't own the domain for long, tell them you paid a premium for it. Also you're not basing your price on holding costs or anything like that you have a use for it and seeing that they're interested it definitely has a higher value than $100. $3K would be cool, I'd try to get as much as I could out of it and would negotiate down if my costs weren't high for the domain in the first place.

In my experience most individual architects are pretty broke. But if it's a big agency, then who knows.

Well...

If they used their company name to email you, e.g. [email protected] then visit their website company.com, if they were clever and used a personal email like gmail then...

Whatever your PBN domain "name" is, do some google searches: "name architects" etc etc

Research the company, who their clients are, how many staff they have etc, that'll give you an idea of much money they have, or don't have.
