Been traveling for close to 2 years, been to a lot of places.
Lived in Mexico for a while. Mexico City (DF) is great. Super cheap, bustling metropolis with plenty to do. Bogota is also nice, though not as intense (but the girls are cuter).
Depends on what your looking for. Nomad life isn't for everyone, a lot of high highs, as well as low lows. It will toughen you up, and give you perspective on what's really important in life.

I honestly have never had an issue with internet in any city I have been to, with maybe the exception of Iquitos. Even if your accommodations has crappy internet, their are plenty of affordable co-working spaces available. For instance the Hub in CDMX is around $100 USD a month, and it's pretty nice.
I liked Bogota quite a lot, ended up meeting my current girlfriend there. It's super affordable (~$1K a month). The people are friendly, and the food is good. But... it does rain a lot, so just be aware of that.
Anyways feel free to send me a PM with any questions, happy to share what I can.
