Just wondering if anyone on the forum is making money off Twitter and if so can you give me a ballpark average? I have a twitter account with 10,000 followers and am thinking of starting some sort of Twitter campaign.

make sure you put a landing page inbetween your Tweet and sponsor or you will get a lot of garbage robot and useless hits.


Tweet -> Campaign LP -> Sponsor
instead of
Tweet -> Sponsor

hope this helps.

And yes Twitter is still a goldmine if you market it correctly via building targeted followers.

i have 500followers and whe i tweet with my cpa offer i have 25-26 clicks and 0 conversations

I earn a bit from twitter but that is by selling re-tweets and followers and so, not from the traffic or advertisement directly...

There has to be a way to make money from Twitter, so many people seem to be failing (inlcuding myself). Maybe we are all going after quantity over quality, maybe if we searched for people loing for our product then add them as a friend/follower conversions would be much higher - just thinking out loud here.

Would be great to hear others thoughts on this.

I do pretty good with twitter, but I only use it as a traffic source when I am bored. It is one way I like to reboot my batteries, and stop the normal grind. I will go do some twitter shit, but honestly I can think of many better ways to spend my time making money online.

Twitter only really works for me when I'm linking to an article or genuine content, not an offer right off the bat.

I use twitter for SEO purposes and for driving traffic to my sites...have had several highly competitive keywords dominating several positions(double indexing) on google's first page just by tweeting my links.
