I make sales buddy. Are you sending traffic that are actually looking to spend money? Or traffic that wants the info for free?
 
My conversion rate is low on CB but I just send over traffic and do not do any presale like I do on other networks. That being said some products are better than others. Google Sniper for instance, I send 20-40 per day for about 4 months and have only sold 1. Overall you need to presale any product or your converson rate will be low.
 
I don't do any presales (I'm guessing this is something like a review site, or my own sales page) - but I'm good about making sure the traffic is coming is at least related.

Maybe this is not enough.
 
My CB average is 48 hops per sale and the traffic comes directly from pages on my sites that explain the ebooks we are selling from CB. I make it sound as if the ebook is better than sex with the hottest chick you can think of... you absolutely have to presell and you absolutely have to have targeted traffic.
 
Oh yeah...most of my income is from cb now...but preselling is absolutely vital,whether done through emails or a lander

Yeah it's possible. I dont make much for cb, the odd bit here and there.

If you find a product that converts on CB you can be sorted for a while but you have to remember most of the products on there look like shit, have shitty landing pages and are pretty rubbish.

Get a ton of articles written and submit them to ezinearticles just to find out what works.
 
My question is: what products are you marketing? Which is the gravity value?

Some products are very good and other (most of them) suck.
But the main task is presell.
 
To OP and others who are curious:
Do not just redirect people to your hoplink. Just make a convincing salespage beforehand first then at the end include your hoplink for the potential lead to find out more.

That's just one of the ways, though~
 
Oh yes, I forgot to mention about this...

Order Form Impression is when a person clicks on the "Order now" and sees the payment page.

Order Form Submit is when a person has submit the form.


Some of you may wonder why you're getting "5 form submit but only 4 sale"
Well, it could be 2 factors causing this:

  1. Client's Credit Card was rejected
  2. Some MOFO type in random details and click the submit just for fun

Uncivilbanks, I have to disagree with you (with respects). DOn't be offended though.

When I started IM, I knew NOTHING about SEO, marketing, salespage writing, .etc. But I manage to earn $5500 with Clickbank within 14 weeks. Well, it isn't good but it was a dream come true for me. It shows that it IS possible to make $$ online. I became more and more motivated.

As of now, I'm making a constant $100 per day with CB. But today I just broke a record - $1000+ a day ;)

Not bragging though, I'm just trying to prove my point that CB is possible. Don't let your beliefs limit you.
 
You do get sales in cb but there are some niches that doesn't convert. I usaually test the niche using eza & if after 150 hops and no sale, either tweak it a little for more testing or just move on to the next one.

For me, I find that what counts is getting on the first 2 or 3 positions for related keywords. Otherwise it's nothing. Organic traffic will give me regular sales and are very consistant. No need even for presell. Average sales ranges from 1 in 20 to 1 in 100.

Also don't promote products where there is "leakage" ie the seller can distract the buyer with other things like opt-ins or affiliate links etc. And avoid products with high refunds.
