you can hire a freelancer but the success rate is just too low. a lot of those link building methods that we read on the internet like backlinko.com are theoretical more than practical

Totally agree with you. Brain Dean & Neil Patel are great marketers with no doubt, but I feel their SEO strategies is not done by for mini businesses like affiliate sites, etc.. I think it's great for large scales/companies.

Like "Create Great Content and You'll Get Links" this works, but for large companies and businesses, Like Ahrefs blog about +200 SEO factors, etc..

But, to be honest, they have great content and also some actionable SEO tactics, Neil Patel mentioned the Scholarship method before it got spammed back in 2014/2015.

Any advanced linkbuilding strategy requires some form of outreach/pr to gain those backlinks (unless you count making long-form skyscraper content), like:

• Guestographics
• Guestposting
• Resource Linkbuilding
• Broken Link Building
• Influencer Mentions

Not only does these methods require outreach/pr, but also high quality linkable content to begin with. The success rate is often 5% give or take 3% depending on the authority you've built up in the niche, and how well you shadowed your prospects on their blogs and social media channels before approaching them...

So to sum up, you'd need to pay someone for:

• Creating stellar optimized content if you're doing resource/brokenlink/influencer mentions
• Research link prospects
• Optional shadow pre-warmup phase
• Outreach
• Follow-up
• Creation of more stellar optimized content if it's a guestpost/guestographic
