Does anyone make money with Clickbank?

This is a business I want to get into, I just need some help getting there. Anyone kind enough to help me out? I'll offer half of my earnings in exchange for help.

You are in BHW, many do. Just start going through a few topic in this forum and clear your queries.

If you're getting into CB, you have 2 things you can choose from:
1.) concentrate in promoting a SOLID offer, do your research, do your googling about it. See if they give advice to their affiliates on how to promote it - they should. You will be much better off with a good product that has no chargebacks and actually delivers value to the buyers. There are plenty of good ones in CB, but a lot more crappy ones.

2.) become a vendor of a good product. This requires more money in the beginning but is more lucrative in the end. Develop your product, learn to sell it yourself. After you ace the selling, start teaching your affs.

Good luck! I haven't done actively CB in a while, but I doubt this has changed.

Well, can you please tell how much do I need to pool, I know it will differ for different types of products, but I wanna know some approximate amount .

Well if no one was making money with them, then Clickbank would go bankrupt right?

Clickbank is really doable for noobs. I created my sellingpage about a month ago, got 3 sells in teh last 10 days, 2 of them today, worth +-60$. There's a lot of info here on how to get started, so good luck.

Oh yeah, actually just got my site ranked recently and seeing a sale almost everyday now (29.99) I created 5 more websites, hoping to make a sale each day from each website. 30x5=150.00 daily from doin nuttin

For those of you wondering if you can make money with Clickbank, I want to assure you that you can, I have been making 4-6 sales a days for the past month using PPC with adwords and a few with blog posts.

Here's one secret. You have got to separate your search ads from your content ads, run at least two ads each, set them to rotate equally and then find out which "ads" are bringing you sales with no regard to numbers of clicks. You will need to make a few sales before making a decisiion there.

Then focus your energy on that ad in either search or content venue. For instance I was promoting one product in both search and content but barely breaking even. Once I fine tuned what was working I ended up running only one ad in content only and now am making a good profit off this product even though it pays a small commission.

You also have to get you bids as low as you can to get the best return on your money. This takes awhile for new users because Google makes newbies pay more for positioning. Over time as you look to be a reliable advertiser they reduce your cost for position.

Track everything and remember that sales do not equal profit. People lose money all the time while making sales because they do not properly track what they're spending.

Hey Typlo how are you getting your ads approved through adwords when they're heading to an affiliate offer. I tried this about a week ago and all my ads got denied. Couldn't find any way around it...

For Google it's all about quality of the landing page, not something a typical CB promoting site is known for. It's probably not the affiliate product that's banned, it's your site. Take a good look at Adwords policies. Sure, you might find it boring, but if this is your business, shouldn't you educate yourself about the environment?

Adwords bans "sniper" sites outright: "Google doesn't allow the promotion of web pages that are created solely to rank high in search engine results for particular phrases, with the purpose of sending you to a different page." They refer to it as "doorway" sites.

Here are some other typical reasons you might be banned:

"A bridge page ... is a web page created for the main purpose of sending visitors to a different site."

"Google AdWords doesn't allow websites whose primary purpose is to collect personal information. This includes but is not limited to websites offering free gifts or other incentives in exchange for personal information. We refer to this practice as information harvesting."

"Google doesn't allow business models that promote techniques to artificially increase or lower ranking or ratings via fake reviews."

Your bidding amount is determined by Quality Score. Other factors are insignificant.

Over time, you can indeed reduce your bidding amount, but not simply because you've been around. As you optimize your adwords within Google's terms, and sync your landing pages with ad copy, you will find your bids coming down.
