Does anyone know how this video has been created?

I mean the text as you speak, is there any software able to do this?

I know the "hard way" is to do it using animation software. Type the text out and have the animator software record the text as it appears. Add in fades, bumps, and other effects after the "text coming in" animation has been recorded. From there just time the text to the words. I think all of this can be done in Synfig, but it's been awhile so forgive me if I'm wrong.
