I would like to open a discussion about the future of Text to Video AI.
Apart from Sora what do you think is worth giving a shot considering the plethora of options available?

I don't think it'll be feasible for them to offer it at an affordable price anytime soon. The costs associated with running it would likely be extremely high, primarily covering their computing expenses without even factoring in potential profits. Consequently, if they do release it at a high price, it would diminish the excitement surrounding the AI hype train - as people come to terms with the impracticality of many of its promises.

Besides, from the content that has been created with it so far, I'm not very impressed. Nothing in this video below seems coherent, it's just random shit, which is fine for a music video I guess... But I doubt it will be able to tell complicated stories very effectively.

I've been hearing later this summer or fall at the latest. The biggest thing to figure out is the cost to use the program when it first comes out.

There's going to be a lot of Sora imitators coming out after its launch, so we'll have a lot of alternatives to choose from. This AI video thing is just the beginning, as it's going to explode.
