Hmm what makes you sure that guy didn't just paid someone to make that clip for him?
Looks high quality and may have had some production costs aswell.

Yeah, I know where this came from, but was wondering what the tool is. It has been done by professionals, but would love to knowwhat the soft part behind this clip is :)

The video was created by Videofy Media. There is a contact form on there website, so maybe you can send them something like "I would like to buy a video from you, but first I want to know what program(s) you use for creating your videos". Make sure to post there answer as I'm also a bit curious.

If it isn't custom "from the ground up" then I'd say it's definitely an after effects template.

Even if it isn't an after effects template, I will say that you could create a video just like it, if not better, using an after effects template.

After I discovered AE, my videos got so much better and it doesn't take much time at all. You can create videos that look like they cost thousands in just a few hours, and the difference it makes (customer/visitor wise) is unbelievable.

Here are the first two places I go when looking for AE templates (be warned...you could get "Lost" in looking at them for hours if not days, haha):

http://www.revostock.com/SearchResu...add_date`+DESC&SearchResultPagerFilter=&&cat1[]=224&cat1[]=225&cat1[]=528

Yeah, they did a very good job with it :)

Seems like customized After Effects template from videohive.net

It's funny to discover this thread 4-5 years later, as I run Videofy Studios (former Videofy Media), which made the video the OP asked about.

It's custom made from scratch using After Effects and Adobe Illustrator. For the 3D part with the phone we used Element 3D from VideoCopilot, where you just add a 3D model of any phone you want and mask the screen to another composition.
