Does Anyone Know How I Can Use Both GA4 and UA On One Wordpress Website?

Hey guys, is one here using both GA4 and Universal Analytics on one website? What's the best way to add both on one website?

I tried adding the tracking codes for both properties in my website header but GA4 is not reporting any data.

That should not happen. I have my tracking codes in my header and both of them work just perfectly.

Oops, I guess didn't add it correctly, or maybe a conflict with my caching plugin? I'll try to add it again later in the day.

Ok guys, I finally found a very quick way to do this.

You just have to set up Google Tag Manager and create an account for your domain. After that add the tags of both GA properties (GA4 & UA) to the Tag Manager account and install the tag manager code in the Head and Body sections of your site. And that's it, both GA properties will receive data once anyone views any page on your website.

Google doesn't recommend adding both GA tracking codes directly on one website. Tag Manager is the best solution.

I'm writing this just in case someone visits this page in the future.

I think for old networks they need UA

And new GA4 has some features? No idea, I never use them.
