Does anyone know any lesser known freelancing websites that work?

I personally am on freelancer.com but the competition there is quite a lot.

I was wondering if there are any lesser known sites that aren't Fiverr, Upwork or PPH which I can try out?

Of course forums like BHW always help me to land more clients.

The logic am trying to leverage is that lesser known sites will have less competition.

I personally freelance in Upwork toptal and PPH, it all depends on your skills.
 
If you are very skilled and have a few years of experience, then Turing and TopTal are much better than upwork, fiverr Or any other freelancing platform. If you are not this experienced, then freelancer.com and guru are a decent one

Upwork is not like other sites. If you can provide quality work, there is still lot of scope on upwork . I have some friends who quit their job because earnings on upwork was good and stable.
 
Totally feel you on the competition thing, it’s fierce out there! You might wanna check out Toptal or PeoplePerHour alternatives like Guru or SimplyHired.

They're not as popular as Upwork or Fiverr but still have decent projects. Also, networking on LinkedIn or even Reddit can surprisingly bring clients—I've landed a few myself that way! Keep grinding!
 
Guru is a platform similar to Upwork and Freelancer, but with a smaller user base and less competition.
