Does anyone have any experience of running their own SNS and if so how do you go about monetizing? I'm guessing you'd pick a niche theme for the site and display appropriate ads? Or you could sell your own product through it, carry affiliate ads ....
I'm just fishing for an angle I suppose - I welcome any hints.
