Does anyone here use IFTTT for IM?

I am probably one of the last people on this planet to discover IFTTT (If this then that).
I was just wondering if anyone here uses IFTTT for IM, like for spreading your RSS feed on various social networks or retweeting yourself?

It seems to me like it covers all needs, but is it reliable / comfortable to work with and especially SCALABLE?

I mostly use it to save some time. For example, when I post on IG, IFTTT will automatically post the same image on my Tumblr. It's a basic but powerful tool. I'd be really interested to see if any of the other guys here have some good uses for it!

But if I got it right, there is no way to add multiple twitter or multiple facebook accounts, so IFTTT probably sucks for "managing" social media.

Or did I miss something?

I use it for most of my stuff. On WordPress upload it uploads to all social, creates a reminder for me to post to the social accounts it can't post to on my android. At the same time setting a calendar event to re-post the same thing 6 hours later, triggering the event across all my other active social media accounts. Gold!
 
To expand as somebody asked for others methods. Auto Twitter retweet accounts can be created every time somebody tweets you will retweet.

If you like a YouTube video it will automatically add it to a blog post.

Same principle with tumblr, no text taken.. Just rips the image lol.

You just use other peoples post to expand on your content. You could link 5 account automatically managing all your profiles and its secondaries. Retweeting, liking etc.
 
i use it to get out of work by receiving phone calls at scheduled times....haha

it's great for a lot of things tho
 
it's a great site and yeah you should use it, there are people on fiverr that for $5 will set up like 20-25 different accounts ( web 2.0, social media) for you and link them together to promote your main account, used them a couple of times and it does help the main site.

Nice advice here, will check fiverr right away. That could save me alot of time!

I didn't know about this either. Looks useful for some tasks
 
I used to, but it's only worth it for a handful of tasks.
