I use google apps for one of my domains, so my email is basically gmail.

every time I send an email, I am like "fuck. I shouldn't have said that" or "instead of this, I should have said that"
I just realized gmail has this feature that you have to enable in settings. When you send an email, it will hold it for 30 seconds and then send it. during these 30 seconds, you can cancel the send.

I am wondering has anyone tried this? Does it work properly? I dont want to mess up my email.
The feature is in Gmail Labs, so does that mean it's in beta version and not tested?

Yeah, I use it all the time. It's been in Labs for a long while so I would trust it.

question for you. Once you send an email, it says "undo" and "view message". If you "view message", the undo button goes away. Do you know how you can unsend it in that case?

I use this all the time, and undo at least once a day. I also use the background send so I can get back to my inbox quicker.

Haven't messed up any emails that bad recently, but it's still there - has saved my ass few times in the past years. Highly recommended feature.

Its old and I am using it for past few months. Yea that Undo feature is great as sometimes you can accidently send mails in frustration or when you are drunk :P
