Does anyone have gkplugin alternative?

Does anyone have an alternative of gkplugin or is able to share how they managed to grab the redirector.googlevideo.com domain from picasaweb?

I need one that's able to output to html5, as gkplugin is mainly flash. And I don't wanna depend on the script.

I recently saw someone posted an alternative free version that doesn't depend on gkplugin. The Vietnamese coders are very talented but i can't understand any of what they are saying.
