Does anyone have experience with building a custom toolbar?

Does anyone have experience with building a custom toolbar and trying to profit from it? I'd be interested in chatting and seeing if there is a possible JV we could create. PM me if you have experience with building a toolbar or trying to monetize a custom built toolbar.

I built one for one of my sites quite a few years ago - can't even remmebr what software I used, but I think it was free. Building the toolbar is the easiest part, getting people to download it - that's another story......

I was interested in hearing some possible monetization methods. Does anyone else have any experience with toolbars?
