Ok, so basically I watch solana nft twitter quite a lot and I understand the promotion methods that smaller/seemingly more noob projects use which is paying big nft pages for retweets which is somewhat effective for getting a project off the ground but it doesn't bring enough engagement for a project trying to mint out for more than $10.
Then there are much more well made projects that come seemingly out of nowhere with thousands of engagements. Now I know everyone's first thoughts will be "obviously theyre botting" And yeah definitely some of this engagement is botted but I don't think it's the full picture. If you check the comments none seem to be fake that i can find and the discord is full of real people.
I'll leave 2 examples
Example of a noob project which is using retweets from big pages to promote: https://twitter.com/grimeon_nft
Example of a "pro" project which has come out of nowhere with thousands of engagements: https://twitter.com/UkiyoNFT_
My question here is what am I missing, I don't think the Ukiyo project is botting their posts and calling it a day. Theyre not buying retweets afaik so it must be something else.
Thanks guys
