If so, I've got a couple of questions.

    1) Can you recommend me any good ad networks?

    2) Is it possible to embed youtube videos in your own custom player (eg one from codecanyon) and show pre-roll ads before them or do you have to have the videos hosted on your site?

    3) If that is possible, do you know whether any specific networks that don't mind you doing that or are against it?

    Thanks!

From what I read yesterday on Business Insider, video advertising boomed in 2013 and will rise even more in 2014. I cannot help you OP. Just wanted to say this, go ahead and try it. People using video advertising cannot be wrong.

Yeah the money in it looks great. It's just hosting videos is really expensive too so I was wondering if anyone had any experience with networks that let you embed youtube videos in your own player and have ads before them.

Because I want to play the ads before embedded youtube videos and I don't think google would be too happy about that somehow! I already make a nice amount off of adsense so really don't want to risk my account being banned.
