Does anyone have a proven method for quickly growing a Twitter account?

There’s no real shortcut, but what works fastest is being very active in one niche. Post consistently, reply early to bigger accounts, and share useful or opinionated takes people want to engage with. Growth usually comes from visibility + value, not paid tricks or DMs.

Pay someone popular in your niche to retweet a post of your choice. I retweeted someone in my niche and he got 1k followers overnight, if I kept retweeting him he’d probably be up about 20k by now. Anyways main point is retweets from popular same niche accounts will boost your account the fastest wether you pay them to or make friends with them on there.
 
Growing an account on X in 2026 is less about "hacks" and more about exploiting the current algorithm’s obsession with "Dwell Time" and "Meaningful Interaction.
 
Consistency helped me the most on X, posting regularly, engaging with similar accounts, and replying to trending topics in your niche. Growth was not instant, but steady engagement seemed to work better over time.
