Does anyone have a formula for Hashtag engagement?

For example, I have gathered several hashtag's data such as Post Amount, min likes, max likes, min comments, max comments. How do I create a formula to create rankings for each hashtag in terms of engagement?

Just on the top of my head, you can't create rankings of your hashtags unless you try them one by one.

So for example, lets say #yacht has 2 million posts, and the average likes is 5,000 and average comments is 150 vs #yachtlife that has the same metrics. How can I know which hashtag is better based on engagement and reach?

Testing. But I would use both and also add average and rare hashtags with less competition. Make a mix of frequent/average/rare hashtags would be my recommendation.
 
I think I'm experimenting and drawing my own formula, but no one has built an exact formula yet
 
Hashtags are basically keywords for IG algorithm to understand your content and profile... Content is what will get you trending and not hashtags.
 
I would just use 3-4 tags then 10 tags then 1 tag ect ect just keep changing it up until you find what works best for you

Minimum likes is probably the best filter
Gives you a rough idea of what sort of engagement is needed to rank for a particular hashtag
