Does anyone else hate Protonmail

O can't believe how much they go on and on about how privacy first they are then you wish to sign up only to find the captcha verification option disabled. Then there email option is disabled for any privacy webmail worthwhile. So they want you for phone number and so all the swearing oath to secrecy and zero logs blah blah blah goes to shit or they beg you for some chump change and so again you leave a print. What a bunch of fleecing ********!

Use another email provider.
Most people that use them are for privacy since you have a good 2-factor option and that you can enable pgp, which most other do not do

I think the only other real competitor is tutanota. Maybe just use pva to sign up via sms?

This is thanks to spammer that create bulk account for resell and spamming other social networks. Protonmail has to implement sms verification since they are losing money with all these dummy accounts created that are not used for legit purposes. Thus causing their domain to be blacklisted by spamahaus and more.

Does anyone else hate Protonmail
