Does anyone else feel like saving information has become useless in Reddit?

I keep saving posts, videos, articles and guidelines thinking that I will come back to them later. But most of the time I never revisit them and now my saved list is become a collection of forgotten stuff.
Even when I go to check them I usually do not remember why I saved them. It feels like we are collecting information more than actually use it.

Is anyone actually manage this better or is it just full of things for you also ?

Save = paid dopamine. Review = unpaid overtime. My brain chose peace.

You are definitely not alone. I used to save everything, then realized I rarely went back to it. Now I only save content if I know I'll use it within the next week, and I add a quick note about why I saved it. A smaller, organized collection has been much more useful than hundreds of forgotten bookmarks.

Haha, relatable. But isn't that true for every social media platform? I have a long list of saved posts in instagram as well that I rarely revisit. Mostly recipes and places to travel to.

I rewatch saved content at regular intervals (usually once or twice per week) and in my opinion it's a good way to get a laugh or get inspired (I usually save comedy and motivational posts).

A valid option when searching is more efficient than saving results now.

Do you filter them first or do you decide quickly which idea is worth applying ?
I generally filter it first, if something immediately feels actionable or useful for my current work, I don’t save it, I just apply it right away.

If you do not open a saved link within 48 hours, you will probably never look at it again. Stop hitting the save button entirely and force yourself to read it right away or let it go.

Same here. I save a lot of stuff thinking I'll come back to it later, but most of the time I forget. My saved list has become more of a storage folder than something I actually use.

I can relate to that. I save a lot of useful posts but I only use few of them. Now I only save the content that I know I will actually use or need later instead of saving all things which becomes hard to find at the time of use.
