For a while I've wanted to make a ecommerce store with pretty much nothing but pictures and maybe a sentence or two on the product page for product description. The "add to cart" button or similar would lead to the corresponding products page on amazon.

Initial traffic would come from social media.

I am wondering: Is amazon like adsense and will ban for lack of content? All my amazon sites are blogs with in-content-links, so I wouldnt want to jeopardize that to test a thin ecommerce store.

No, amazon does not have any issues regarding thin content pages/sites.

I don't think they will suspend your account because of this. You are not breaking tos

Just be sure you use their buttons if you do this, and have the advertising disclaimer somewhere on your site.

you much have some disclaimer, terms and privacy policy pages on your website to be in the green zone.

You may did something wrong so they might suspended to you temporarily or else contact to their support team to regain your account back.
