I just started adwords campaigns for my EMD. It was dancing in between #10 to #12. But after I run adwords campaigns, it push back to #230 and not showing deep page instead of home page. I am new to adwords.

    Victorsmith84,

This is a great question. The official answer from Google is no, Adwords campaigns do not directly affect organic rankings. One indirect side effect of running a Google Adwords PPC campaign is that Google is paying closer attention to your website. In order to compute quality score for keywords, Google must scan the landing pages and other parts of your site in order to get an accurate number. This increases both the amount and consistency with which the search engine indexes pages (for advertisers websites).

So, content on your site gets indexed faster than it otherwise would have. In theory, there may have been things about your site that Google does not like (accounting for the change in ranking to #230 in SERP's) and Google just hadn't noticed it right away because content had not yet been indexed. As soon as your Adwords campaign went live, Google took a more recent snapshot of your site and saw something it didn't like compared to the last time it took a look.

Check out this thread on SEOMoz about the subject,

At this link, Google clearly states (under the Adwords Express and Organic listings link) that Adwords does not affect organic rankings,

This post on searchengineland goes in depth about organic and paid listings,

    I hope this helps,

From what I heard it does, since getting foot traffic to your site brings your organic relevance up.

    Thanks Shawn for awesome helps.
It is EMD and I got #10 to #12 without single backlink. It is dancing in between #10, #12 or sometime not in Top 300.
I just halt my Adword campaign and now facing same situation.

From my experience, Adwords campaigns hold no significance in the algorithm for organically ranking websites although it does accomplish getting google bots to visit your website.

I set up a quick blogger blog review site for a "Magic Mesh" CPA to test expertseo's voucher method. The site only had five review articles republished (copy paste) from ezine articles and no off page seo. After the voucher ran its course it has been getting 15-30 visits per day with 1-2 sales per month! Pretty cool experiment actually.

    Aloha!

I don't get how come Bingbot is going to any of my AdWords ad even those that are under review and aren't shown anywhere.
Also I had a domain that wasn't promoted anywhere and after Adwords it got indexed. You can say that it is due to whois links but I had a subdomain that was also promoted and there really wasn't any link to it from the top domain and any other website and it got indexed as well. And I want to add that every subpage has been indexed as well.
Bing also indexed that domain but only the top one and only the index page.
