Does AdWords ban your URL for life?

Adwords has banned my account, including URL etc.
Some sources say they only ban your URL temporarily, others say permanent.

What's the truth? I really need this domainname.

I dont know about url. But I was banned and always kept trying to sign up again only to be banned. So I stopped signing up and after like 1-2 months I signed up and I wasn't banned, but it was with a different url.

Adwords agenda is not banning your website or url but banning you as an advertiser. So they use all kind of detections to verify it is the same advertiser (like IP, Mac Address, billing info, CC details bla bla).

If they banned your domain, it wont be forever. The minute your domain switches hands, and the website content has been changed / updated, the domain penalty will be revoked (my humble experience)

The truth is adwords ban the url permanently, if it voilates their tos.

But if the website is down, they may suspend temporarily, until they do manual check.

so we can't use multi adwords account to promote 1 web? For example, if I use my own adwords account, then I hire a PPC expert and they use their account. Let say my account got banned but my PPC expert not, does my domain still gonna get banned?

First off, I dont think they ban advertisers for life, Second off, I have multiple adwords accounts which promote the same website so I dont think thats a problem as long as each account has differnent info

Well, I'm not saying that Adwords suspend the advertiser for life, David Baker, the Adwords ant fraud chief is saying that:

The Google Adwords Ban IS NOT permanent.

Hmm, I rotated with 5 different url's, and in my experience they usually got unbanned after 1 month or so.

You remind me of the days when I got free traffic from Adwords.

My Strategy was simple. I was creating new accounts with $50/$100 coupons and as soon as the credit was used, i would close the accounts. Very soon i figured out a better way. I would use these coupons and then add a VCC. By the time, they would try billing me, I would have used the coupons as well as some credit till the first charge attempt.

I think i made about 15-20 accounts this way. Very soon my website was banned. I tried a couple more accounts, still banned. Then I took the courage of contacting support and asking them about the issue, although I knew what was wrong. The reply was standard, they had the right to choose whom to provide services and stuff like that.

I made another bold move and replied back saying I knew what the issue was and willing to pay for the previous accounts (by this time, adwords had proved to be very useful and would have given a very high ROI, even if I had paid for all that advertising). But all that I got in return were standard replies.

Persistence really helped me here. I kept replying back telling them how much business I can give them over the next 6 months. I even assured them a figure in one of the emails. I don't think they were interested in any of that.

However, after around 10-15 days of email exchanges, they finally pointed me to one account which I had previously created and told me to work from it. I still use that account.
