Does adderall really works? I can't get work done.

If you have problems focussing, try the Pomodoro-Technique. Works great.
Taking performance enhancing drugs, shouldn't be the solution.

You're just lazy. Entertainment doesn't hurt but work makes you hurt, I mean come on..
Not really, it's more likely a focus and concentration issue. Entertainment doesn't hurt because you don't have to use much of your brain on it.
Don't do drugs kids!
I never did it
Adderall is great for productivity, but... you will pay the price later.

Think about it a bit like ... deal with the devil.
Even occasionally can be that bad?

You are just lazy, if your eyes hurt its just a physicall problem and is totally normal for that you can use visine but i dont recommend it (your eyes will get use to it and when you stop using them it will be much worse than ever before). But procrastinating , thats in your head ! You dont have strong motivation if netflix is important for you more than making some money and work.
My motivation was 0 in bank and 400€ check that i had to pay to my state for living there haha.
Adderal is more for raw focus and instinct or reflex.
Thats why it was used in csgo and many fps, it helps you with aim ,reflex stuff but not for making smarter plays or better decisions.

Don't take Adderall or Dexamphetamine if you actually care about getting work done.

Yes they both will give you energy, but it's incredibly difficult to stay focused when you're on them because they are too stimulating and enjoyable, and the compulsion for redosing is too high as well (which leads to dosing more in one day than you need to in order to just perform the way you want to). I've tried working on dexamphetamine a number of times and it never ends up leading to doing more work, but instead to an afternoon/evening of drinking and going out. I've been told that Adderall is similar, but worse.

Modafinil is what you're looking for OP, 3/4 of Silicon Valley are on it for a reason.

From personal experience I can highly recommend it - I've completed uni coursework using Modafinil in timeframes that just wouldn't have been mentally possible without it. It's great for programming, any kind of content writing work, and especially any time you feel like procrastinating.

You will want to work and will be able to sit and work for hours at a time without blinking. You don't get stimulated, you don't have any weird bodily reactions, you don't crave more of it, and you will be more productive than you've been without it. Really it just gives you absolute focus and a clear mind.

Modafinil is much better and no (current) side effects. Adderall is basically just clean speed.
Edit: lol, beat me to it. Great minds.

Adderall will become a new problem.

Talk to a professional. Black hat SEO forum not right place to get shrink advice.

Thank you. I'll research about it.

Here's a fairly balanced and accurate article IMO: https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/...ade-me-love-work-but-hate-everything-else-876

One thing I've noticed as well is that it does make you feel less sociable, so if the work you're doing is based on interacting with people it could impact that.

But if you're working on your own at home or in an office and don't really need to interact with people that much then it's not an issue.

I take adderall and my eyes hurt for looking at the screen for 15 hours a day...
That's normal I guess, I can't see the screen for more than 1 hour lol. 15 hours are more than enough.

Just get a job at wallmart or smth similar. You will fix you sleep problem, be productive and also earn cash.

Damn I wish I was in North America for that. Life would have been a lot better. But unfortunately I live in a third world country.

I have ADD. Never taken Adderal or Ritalin and never will. Things that help me focus are red bull/coffee (for about 1 hour so not a perfect solution) but most importantly: change of location.

If your office isn't doing it for you, move to the living room, if that isn't doing it for you, go to the nearest coffee shop and so on. Every time you lose focus, move to a different space. This has helped me a lot over the years.

Also: come on my dude, don't watch Netflix during the day :P

DO you actually have a task list that you can work on?

L-theanine and coffee
Much more natural.

I have adhd too, especially after drinking coffee ☕️ (alone without l-theanine). I got urges to do different things every 10 minutes

this 100%, move your desk a few feet in a different orientation and watch how much more productive you become. Just keep productivity in mind. Poor mans adderal

Thanks mate I'll try that, do you drink cofffe with milk or no milk? I don't have coffee beans I use instant coffee and I rarely feel awake or enegrtic. Maybe I am confusing it the wrong way?

Start using the pomodro method:

"Traditional Pomodoro method timer with standard time periods. Each Pomodoro is a 25-minute cycle followed by a 5-minute break. After the fourth Pomodoro, you’ll take a 15-minute break."

I drink my coffee black in the morning and iced with milk during the day. Though the way you drink it shouldn't matter much. I find that I can just focus better while I'm on caffeine. (again, only for about an hour) It might just not be the right solution for you

Adderall makes you high and sluggish.
Modafinil is another synthetic mind altering drug.

L-theanine + coffee much more natural.
