From what i’ve seen the time zone mostly affects how your daily budget resets not performance. But if you are running stuff for a local audience then might be smart to match their time so your ads hit the right time

But the time zone is related to the time when customers are more or less active (people often call it the golden hour). Therefore, you need to choose the correct time zone with the geographic location you are targeting.
If the time zone of the advertising account is different from the time zone where you are targeting, there are two ways to handle it:
- The first way is to convert the time yourself (calculate manually) and then set the time to schedule the ad so that after the conversion, it matches the golden hour.
- You do not want to convert the time because it is often calculated incorrectly. Create a new advertising account and set the time zone to match the time zone where you are targeting (Because the advertising account will be selected in the time zone right after creation and cannot be changed later).
