Does account age help so you don't get banned?

Ok just a quick question. There is a guy in one of the same niches as me. My one main vid that was ranking for said keywords he now ranks for was taken down. I had about 16k views on this vid plus about 700 likes and a good bit of faves and subs. The niche I am in the stuff is fake. As in you are not able to get it free even though the vids say you can then you do a survey to get said file . We all know the methods. Thing is this guy has had his account up for a long time and I Know he has had to have that thing spammed to death with flags with pissed off people... Yet he still hasn't been banned. The only Thing I can see is his account is old. It was created like 7 months ago while his vid is only a month old. He doesn't have any info nor pics on the account from what I can see... So question is does aged accounts have a way less likely chance to get deleted then newer accounts? My video lasted about 3 weeks in his current youtube position

Personally, I've had very old accounts banned before :/ I think it is a bit less likely, but not that much.

Its not a rule of thumb I would say. Old accounts can be banned.

Yeah, I have also had old accounts banned, So I think not.

Both can be banned at about the same rate

I think it depends on the quality of the IP the account was created with, also.
