Does Associated Content pay Canadians? If not can I just say I am from the US and get paid? If I say Im from the US does by paypal account have to back that up or does that not matter?

yeah dude. AC doesnt not check if your account is from the US or not.

just make sure you say that you are "us citizen" when you sign up for AC. This will ensure upfront payments, but only until you reach 4-500$ because then they ask you for your tax info, which you obviously won't be able to provide
