Does a microniche site really get all the traffic?

I was wondering you brothers out here with microniche sites, do you really get all the traffic that Adwords' keyword tool promises? I mean 1000-2000 LMS/GMS do you get all that traffic for main keyword? If not what percentage?

It's almost October, I need to fix my budget plan for the next year and would really appreciate your help.

Those numbers are based on statistics, sometimes you do get close to the number, other times it can be above that.

You also need to take into account that if you are ranking #1 for Google.com you're probably somewhere on page one for other regions as well, so traffic will vary.
 
Yes. In some cases a lot more than the keyword tool indicates if I'm riding a trend.
 
The answer is not simple, but here's the truth.
If your site is #1 you will get ~50% of Local Monthly EXACT searches.
If your site is #2,#3 you will get ~20-30% of Local Monthly EXACT searches.
and so on...
So, you better target more keyword to hit TOP5/TOP3 instead of trying to be no.1 with a couple of keywords.

Like banel said, if you're at #1 on ranking for a specific keyword then you can expect to get at least 50% of that traffic. For example, if adwords say 1000 then you can expect to receive 500+.

I too agree. You need to rank higher with different keywords to get maximum traffic

not when google has commercial on top ..... then it will be considerable lower
 
if you are in spot 1 then you will get a maximum of 60% traffic. and for page 1 you will get 20-30% visitors.
Google adword just tell you about the average things. not exact.
 
For one keyword, I was getting 90 UVs/day for a 800 exact searches keyword (Google Adwords tool) with no commercial ads. Half from google.com, but it was almost double the search volume.
 
You should also think about whats upcoming and not whats in the KW tool. As G stated something like 20% of all daily search queries are unique. They haven't been seen before and the stats aren't there for them.

For example I built one niche site around a keyword that had no stats in G KW tool. A month or so later it has over 7000 monthly volume.

This is how to do it.
 
Well sometimes I get 10 per day (300 Per month) and for some sites I get 350+ per day which is more then 9000 per month. Google adword tool gives you an estimation it depends what type of Niche your site is about..Like Halloween related site get 1000's traffic per day in Season or in october.So it all depends on factors....
