Does a CG Warning actually shadow ban Shorts?

Bought a shorts channel that came with an active CG warning already on it. seller never appealed or did the training. Warning sat untouched for 300+ days before I finally did the policy training myself.

I heard CG warnings shadow bans the channel, but it was still performing normally when it got the warning is it a myth or not?

Removing the warning significantly improves the channel's credibility. If you see a sudden drop in views, it could also be due to frequent algorithm changes or a shift in viewer preferences.

A warning alone doesnt always tell the full story the real impact usually shows in the channels analytics after the notice especially impressions and audience reach.

The system may consider your channel to be riskier and limit your video testing with new audience segments.

The warning will not automatically disappear if you ignore it and do not take the policy self-study step. It will remain permanently on your channel as a violation record until you voluntarily complete the policy training.
