I just got an ebook from Howie Schwartz on how to use document sharing sites such as Scribd to get backlinks. You just upload files or docs containing urls to the site which creates a backlink to your site. Is it worth it?

Google particularly likes docstoc right now so it is worth it but make sure you backlink it hard once it goes live.
